Recruitment of individual experts for short term services worldwide

To increase flexibility in the provision of technical assistance (TA) provided to both partner countries and its own operations, the European Commission (EC) has developed procurement procedures through the use of Framework Contracts (FWCs). The objective of the EC's FWCs is to provide short-term services for the benefit of partner countries and for Commission internal services. FWCs can cover all main EC programmes, instruments, regions, and the  entire  range  of project  cycle  operations.

Since 2004 AAM has managed individual assignments defined and contracted through specific contracts in the fields of Telecommunications and information technologies, Governance and Home Affairs, Macro economy, Statistics and Public finance management. The services covered are:

  • Different stages of the project cycle: identification, feasibility, implementation, technical advice, monitoring, evaluation, etc.,
  • Assignments regarding horizontal aspects: sectoral policies and reforms, macroeconomics, public financial management, legislation and law enforcement, capacity development, training and research, awareness-raising (incl. information and communication),
  • Specific expertise regarding the professional area of the Lot concerned, in the fields of Telecommunications and information technologies, Governance and Home Affairs, Macro economy, Statistics and Public finance management.

While responding to specific project calls, AAM provides support to individual experts via smooth and timely management and quality assurance of all contractual, technical and financial issues.
